what have u heard about the stl? is it stiff? flexible? how is it in the park? im thinking about getting a pair and just want to know what other people have been saying about the stl and other skis comparable to it.
ive skiied it and i personally love it. pretty soft, pretty poppy. Super fun park ski. The only thing i dont like is the durability. The top sheet chipped really really easy, and i got a huge core shot that on my karmas wouldnt have even happened. So it skis great, but i wouldnt buy it caus i like to have skis more than one year.
I have them, they're soft, poppy and really, really fun. I would highly recommend them. Switch skiing is a dream on them.
The edges are solid, the base is solid but the topsheet like on any other sidewall ski, chips, I have got 1 dent that is noticeable, it's 1 by 2 centimeters, but it's nothing serious.
they are super fun but mine are so hacked. the tail delammed the edge pulled out on the nose and tail and there is to 3 inch sections of edge missing underfoot.
I agree with everything said so far, most fun skis I've ever ridden, particularly switch, but goddamn they delam fast. To be fair though mine are teh original ones and I think now they may have worked some of the kinks out.
this years models are nothing like earlier years models; they have improved a whole lot what comes to durability!
they're just getting better and better for each year, and next years graphics just kickos assos!!
and yeah, I just love my STL's too!!
I've actually never heard someone not liking them after having tried'em!
