this is insane, some guy managed to create this shit, it must have taken a while to do the programming not to mention how long it'd take to fit a NES controller into the iPod so he can use it to play.. but check it out:

what i dont get is how can he play a game on it. if it wasnt designed to play games. or did he put new software in it? i know its a mod but how did he do it? this is gonna bother me for a while

its running linux. you can run all sorts of programs with that setup. now, the controler, thats insaine, specially since that controller is sooo old and the electronics are in different worlds.

^^^ no, but if you buy an iTunes card and go to the iTunes website, for like $2.99 you can buy all sorts of games to put on your iPod

so true, but that guy has skill, that must of taken so long to esentiay reverse engineer the whole ipod system, then reprogram it and evrything. he should be working for apple

there aare programs people just download for thier iPod to do it, it doesnt really take that long either.. the NES controller would take some talent thoeven having to do it yourself... and the step by step process isnt that super clear about it tho
