I was at pc today trying to do some 270 ons the hard way, and shit just didnt work out so well. I was trying to spin right side when the rail was to the left of me as opposed to spinning left. I was just wondering if anyone has in on video or any pointers.
what you were doin is not lip slide, the easier way is lipslide...or at least thats how most people say it. I think it makes more sense to say the latter is lipslide, but look at snowboardins lipslides...they are all backwards too. They make sense if you think about it, however who really likes thinking anyways!
it is a lip 270, aka it's the same way you'd get on for a lip, but you keep spinning. the reason it's so much harder is you don't see the rail for most of the spin, making it hard to adjust. the trick is visualizing, and then adjusting to where you assume the rail is before you can see it.
yeah i have the same problem, i can do them spinning left from the right, but not left from the left. watch photoplay, theres some sick ones on the northstar stairset rail
technically you could right side 270 a rail to your left and not lipslide. im not good enough but some steezebot could right 2 and then land in a nose press, never going over the rail.
