shovel,probe, not beacon like i read up there,u put that on ur person, a avi could rip ur pack off but ummm, snow saw,extra layers,extra food,snow cards,extra gloves,socks,WATER,cell phone, walkie talkie, rope, lighter,hand warmers,knife, rope... be creative

branch, assorted cool rocks, a magnifying glass, slide whistle, assorted shiny objects, pieces of string, keys, couple batteries and a piece of paper with a picture of a bird drawn onto it. thats what i keep in my ski bag. its not really a ski bag though bdcause its a briefcase to start a new trend of skiing with briefcases.

yeah youre def gonna need an avy beacon and probe at jay peak. It may be a cool looking back pack, but you don't NEED to wear it while you're skiing.
