well you need to go faster to carve, else you'll short. basicall start on the side of the jump you spin and then carve so that you'll be straight at the takeoff. this initiates the spins so you don't have to huck very much, but more of just bring your shoulders and hips around with the hands just turning into your grab instead of initiating the spin.+

yeah if you carve more you tend to go cork.... and if you just huck but wind up too you can spin it pretty sick

Carving up a jump makes you go cork. Unless you're trying to do it it's not going to help you at all. Even though I don't hit jumps I know that it helps to work your way up.

I hope you are joking...twisting your body is pretty much the worst thing you can do

well 180 on a big jump you don't really set any spin. Try to think of it as a late 180. Pretty much just turn your head once you're off the jump. 360 just think about it the same as on a smaller jump, just set it nice and slow, it's easier to pull it around that to slow it down. PRetty much just think of it the same just slower

i find it funner and ur bady feels much more fluid then going strait up and spinning...it feels and looks smoother, it helps u to learn corks, and it also helps u get a bit more rotation when u want to do bigger spins

when i carve of jumps i sure dont go cork... but i do drift way across the landing which feels cooly. Its hard though cause you have to think about it... im bad at thinking while im doing things. if you can wing it and just do it on the fly... youll be cool like me.

before you get into carving off jumps, try learning to actually use your legs and pop of the lip, insted of riding the takeoff

carving on jumps doesnt make you corked at all, unless you wanna make yoruself corked. Pete olenick does the sickest carved spins, and it looks even better when he corks them out

it doesnt make u but thats kinda a way u can, if u lean into the carve u cork; but if u carve "flat" u spin
just dont carve into it

go at the jump with a wide stance and wind up and pop a shit load, look over ur shoulders, and move ur shoulders too ( it helps u stay more on axis)
