New Zealand Liftie

I have noticed that allot of lifties are from Austrailia and New Zealand and I asked one of them and he said that it was a program that the resort setsup for them to come to the US and work. My question is does it go the other way? Could I go work for a place in New Zealand, like how they come up here?

there are work programs that work the other way.. not sure if for lifties though. check their immigration site: http://www.immigration.govt.nz/
