I am 5'10" about 180 and was thinkin either the sb180, 176 sprayers, or 181 msps. I can get them all for about the same price so that is not much of a factor
MSP is pretty soft so i hear. I have ARVs and i find htem a little too soft for really hard snow and very high speeds. If i could go back in time i would have got Seth's or Scratch BC's instead.
wow, that's short, im the same size and was thinking about getting 176 sprayers as a park only ski, they do make a 180 in it, i'd get that for all mountain. also, look at 179 chronic blends.
i don't really like the turnign radius on msp, its like 25 or something (i don't have the figures in front of me)
im thinking of getting the sb180s!!1
u should too
MSP's are not that stiff. and my 03/04s's are still holding up fine after 100+ days, so i dunno what some of these people are talking about. they do everything pretty nice, but they aren't quite stiff enough to properly bomb crud, and not fat enough for the deep stuff. that's why i'm either going gotama or vct for my next ski. other than that they rock though
True for the sprayer FS but not really for the sprayer BC... You can butter the shit out of the BC and for the price they are a such a fun ski for all mountain
Ok, I have the sb's in a 180 and they are amazing. They compare to the ARV but a little stiffer. The MSP is the stiffest ski there so if you have raced in the past and like stiff that is a good choice. And the SCRATCH BC are okay but if you are gunna get a bc get the WRS, they may be fat but they butter nicely and are super sick in the park, fat skis are where it is at now. I saw some kid with bacons in the park. But anyways I like to ski a LOT of park and allmountain every now and then and my libertys are excellent. And they have a 3 year warranty. Cant beat that, and they have great customer service.
