I tore my meniscus in Park City last week, anyone ever had this injury? My doctor hasn't even gave me an MRI yet, but he says he's 100% sure it's an meniscal tear. So I guess my season is shot?
get an invite to the ACL survivors cult. its not your acl but a lot of people in there would have insight on a meniscus tear, at least going along with the acl
I tore that, and my acl and did a bunch of damage... they repaired everything, but apparently they couldn't fix the meniscus tear... they might have even just cut a piece of it out.
you might be alright though, just it a bit of pain, it's not like you're losing stability, just the comfort from bone
I tore my meniscus 6 years ago, I tore mine about 2 weeks before the season ended, and I was in a knee brace for about 2 months. you can ski on it if you're willing to risk every season from now until you die
it seems like he'll probably send you off if youre still in that much pain. i dont know though. i hope nothings wrong or its just the meniscus. i had a minor tear in my meniscus last year. i didnt need surgery or anything. damn i thought that was bad and then i tore my acl/mcl in the other knee. i hope you dont have anything else wrong. good luck!
