Alright, both of us know that the east doesn't have any snow, and we haven't got any snow all season. We also know that most of the west is getting dumped on right now. Of course, we're jealous of you, the fact that we get out of bed and see it raining out side, when you get up and see a fresh 3 ft. For me, I'm glad atleast some people are getting some snow to ski on. But for all you people living out west that are making these threads pretty much making fun of the people living in the East, fuck you, and to all those who are skiing the pow and feeling for us on the east, thanks. And you have no idea how hard it is to look forward to something for 7 months and then not get a snowflake, so stop with all these threads rubbing in it our face. those are for the regional forums. peace

yeah but if you live in the east coast its OK to make one when you get 3 inches right? or make 3 threads a day about how there is no snow....I'm in the east, we have no snow...they have lots in most places. what can you do about it, just don't click on the thread if it bothers you.

yeah dont get too ahead of yourself, California has pretty shitty snow right now, lots of exposure, but still more than eastcoast and it is something so I'm grateful

well it happens. we had it two yrs ago. ull have a better season next yr. whatabout just doing urban rails all season then using ice rink snow? thatd be sick!!!!

urbans are fun but some of us aren't only into park only. for instance, i love hitting cliffs, moguls, and steaps. all of which involve having lots of snow

Yea, the west had some hardtimes in 04/05, But whats goin on in the east coast is a scary thing. I have a lake in my backyard, why, cause it rains everyday. I wake up to gray skies pissing rain. then I get in my car and go to school were i hear a bunch of cocks mumble about this great weather were having. Ill get a text from one of my boys down at the valley saying they just shut down 2 more lifts and took out the rails. Then ill skip spanish and go to the library to check the weather. What do i see? Monday, Rain, Tuesday, Heavy rain w/ thunder, Weds- high 0f 55. Then ill go home, almost hitting a telephone pole because of the 4 inch deep river in the middle of the fuckin street. Finaly ill go home, sleep untill its dark so i dont have to look outside and see the gray skies and evil rain. Then some of the boys will come over and rip bongs with me and well watch a ski flick. Half-way through well turn it off cause all the snow we see just fuels our depression. This shit is not funny. Its seriosly fucking with most of us. When you have a bad day and its snowing out, it makes it a little better.its fucking january 7 and its raining, and there is nothing promising at all for the future.

get over it... i live in the freaking midwest and have skied 20 to 25 days this season already... we have shit for snow, but we still have a decent park... make the best of it... u cant tell me that the midwest is having a better year than the northeast...

only snow i've been on was fake snow, w/ rain blowing in my face, i half blame global warming, and half blame el nino. hopefully we'll have better freakin snow next season.. or just move somewhere else...

anyways yea if the east ragged on teh west cause we had better snow, it was definately a one-time thing. we will never have that opportunity again if things keep up. i wasnt even a member back then so i dunno exactly what happened, but it sounds like we were assholes. meh you guys have mountains to ski year round if you want. we dont. and dont say you know how we feel because you have summer. we have longer summers. we wait for like 8 months to find that we have to wait even longer for a fucking flake. so no, you do not know what we feel like. its shitty.

today i almost drowned in snow.   i was skiing and it was dumping ALL over.  like you'd ski one run and your tracks would be covered by the next.  but it sucked.  like seriously, who likes THAT much snow. it makes your thighs burn, and floating over all that snow isn't even fun.    i hate like the foot of snow we've gotten in the past day....

You must also realize that not ALL places out west have as much snow as Colorado, Utah, and Washington do right now. Those places are just having bomb years and some fluke storms. East will come around, it's still early January.
