Anyone surprising themselves?

this season i'm doing shit that i didn't think i could ever do. i'm not trying to be cocky i'm just really stoked on the fact that i've stepped up quite a bit this year. on an up flat i got a double switch up to 270 out and on an urban rail i got a blind side switch up..and not at the end of it haha. i don't know why i can suddenly do this shit. this happening to anyone else?

yeah, I'm really surprising myself this year, i learned a 270 on (onto boxes, im gonna try it on a flat bar later when my hill has on that isn't nutable height) and I'm trying switch ups and 270 outs, which i wouldn't have even tried last year

i think its because i have a lot more confidence, cause last year i would be afraid to hit certain stuff or try stuff, but this year, thus far, i have been a lot more ballsey in the stuff i try

yeah me to Ive been hitting stuff that I had no idea I could do last year. Like I saw this small jump and it was a 30ft grass gap and 15 feet down, and you needed to start from the beginging of the trail to get enough speed, On the chairlift i saw It and said damn id be crazy if i hit that thing, by the end of the day I was throwing 180s off of it.

same here, and im making them look good im not all flaily so its super fun to try shit now. but i dont really like rails so im waiting for my mountain to put up some jumps and well see where taht goes

Yheah... I've miraculusly became much better in the summer... Like 2in sw outs on urban style kicks.. i wouldn't have done that last year no.

yeah i try crazy stuff and it never works, now i have a concussion and have been told by a doctor to not ski for 2 weeks but im going tomorrow fuck him

so far on flatland stuff (we barely have enough to ski on), i've been sucking. i cant even do 360 nose butters anymore.

Actually, yeah, I switched over from skiboarding and in my 15 days of skiing I can 360 pretty well with the occasional 540 and I'm doing butters on boxes and stuff that I couldn't on skiboards.

well last year i couldnt do anything on rails (no swicth ups or spins on) except for almost 270s off. but this year i can slide unnat, do swicth ups both ways, and spin on, and go switch on.

ya, I have to say im just pretty damn good, nothing I do surprises me anymore given the fact that Im just pro at life. and no, im not killing it this year, although i FINALLY learned how to slide rails and not just boxes so I guess i would agree that I have progressed. I think it comes from just thinking about it all summer.

this is like my first year of freeskiing... like last year i hardly did anything and now im practicing doing switch ups onto flat boxes and im doing switch out's and like almost all the boxs, including raibows and flat down flat, im really surprised im actually trying this stuff!!

i broke my ankle like 3-4 weeks ago adn i wanna go skinig on wed......
i just jumped off my couch and it fucking hurt so much i fucking hate ankles you dont even need them to ski just putting fucking pressure on it FUCK ANKLEZ i even have snow and a park and a BRAND NEW fucking setup.......

I am sorta finding the opposite. Last year I had all the balls in the world and was hitting huge table tops and what not. I even entered a compition. But near the end of the year, I popped wrong off a jump and ended up in the hospital for four days. Now it's my second day of skiing this year and I have been in the pakr but I have been unable to hit anything except for a flat box which was like a foot off the ground. So, you know..... hopefully I'll get some confidence.

yea man, same here, shits crazy, i never thought i could pretzel, but i learned in a short period of time, and ive already done sw 9's which i just learned at the end of last season, only doing like 3 of them.. so yea shits crazy

im happy with my self this winter break i learnd 270s on boxes and i can clean a triple kink rail at my mnt (i am reeeeeeallly bad at rails) and a 900 degree spin and also a bio 3, 5, 7 and i just got a sw 3 jeeeeeaa

thats the most claiming ive ever done in one sitting..... and im not modest (wish i was but i cant help myself)
