ok, so i'm chillin on NS.com, and just decide to look at Salomon's ski site. So I go in, and right above Freestyle (Ex. 1080,720,ect.) there's NEW SCHOOL RACING!!!! What in the sacred name of flaming fuckshit is that?!?!?!? I mean, you can't spin, or go fakie on (rich bastad $1,200+) race skis?!

What is the world coming to?!

apparently all these people! dude, did you read that article in freeskier about skiercross? crazy shit is what that course sounded like! but yah, most racers are gay, some are cool...the sport of racing definitely is gay (cept the whole help the technique part) and rosie odonnel is also gay

You're an idiot. A large percentage of pro skiers were ex-racers. Most racers I know go bigger in the park than those tards who cant turn and hike the same rail all day.

Perfectly said. Who would have thought all those hours spent working on there balance, technique and strength would help somebody control their skis better in the park. Ski racing isnt gay, just a large percentage of the people who participate... and those skin tight suits are pretty gay to.

Ryan Semple enters the Salomon Crossmax skiercross every year, and wins a new vehicle, almost every year. Yet again here's another example of where a ski racer or ex-racer excels. On a side note, nobody who races actually pays for their skiis, they get them for free or are paid to ski on them so that you, the consumer will buy them after seeing them. Skier cross skiis are a GS ski with a different topsheet and a slightly longer radius.

damn, i cant believe what im reading, racing is such a big part of our sport, who cares if some of them act like pussies, they dont represent the fuckin majority.. most of racers are fuckin awesome skiers, unlike many newschoolers around the park! skiing is skiing

I have to agree with you on this one, the spandex is gay, so are the 5am mornings.

BUT! The free travel, skiis, gear, passes and perks like groupies seem to make it somewhat less painful.
