Zune vs. Ipod

Aright guys, i no this has been posted a lot but i would like to hear some opinions. im getting one of these for christmas and i just wanted to know which one overall is the better deal.

There is a conspicious lack of evidenciary support in this entire thread, which consists of mostly opinion. The argumentation is weak, established facts are absent, and a distinct sense of lack is present in the conclusion part.

the zune looks tight and ive fucked around with one, so i would want to get one, but from all the ratings/critics i heard it was unreliable/not as quality as ipod.

same.
and using a mac, i'm more inclined toward an ipod, since itunes is such a great program and it already has all my music organized in it.
the zune is a better mp3 played as far as using it goes.  the screen looks better. it can go vertical or landscape (which is really sweet), and it's just more interesting to look at when you're using it.
the ipod's a great mp3 player, but it's not the only way to go (at least i really hope not).

how can apple say that pcs arent fun when 99.9% of computer games come out only for pc and if they run on an apple os, chances are they came out before on pc.

Dude i just got a fuckin zune and there so sick. A little on the big side compared to the ipod, but other then that i fucking love it. The widescreen is SOOO sick. And the quality is amazing. Def worth it.

if u want a big screen you could get an 80g ipod but the zune is really big

dude their is a reason 50 million other people enjoy and know how to use their ipods and you can't. i'll let you figure out why. the zune is about 5 years too late, and has a bunch of useless features. there is no argument. ipod all the way
