Dude.. I just listened to it on my friend's myspace page..

I dont understand a single word, but it makes me want to straight pick up a gun and go into battle or something...

Dude... Ive listened to it like 8 times now... Too bad I wasnt old enough when all the cold war era olympics were going on... I'm sure I would have heard A LOT of this...

I believe the Russians re-adopted that as their national anthem. And if not, they did vote that they wanted to, whether or not its happened yet.

its a sick national anthem. I personally think that the American anthem sucks and just doesnt sound that great. Granted it is nice cause its not chock full of some sort of propaganda about particular people in history etc so i guess its alright.

Theres a video from 1954 i think of it sung in a rough english translation, search soviet english i think. Here are the words to that, definitely way different but i think it was changed up so it would still match the music. (stolen from wiki)
