Freestyle Walking

cool thing that'm getting into in the off season of skiing. Skateboarding isn't a close enough comparison to skiing, so i'm trying to do this. So far i've improvised with a friend on some benchs table and stairs. It's fun. We are 'training' on the high-jump mat at school practicing inverts. I've done a lincoln off of a rock, and i tried a misty 5 off a picnic table and it hurt because i failed. I think Freestyle Walking is hella fucking cool, and Ghost is the man.
I'm also making my own soaps out of old skate shoes. They won't be as hardcore as Soaps, but they should grind well. Anyways chat, debate,discuss it below.

I can front, back, and almost misty off the ground. Its so scary the first time, you think that youre gonna kill yourself, but then you get it around and realize it wasnt that bad and then do it again and again, and again.

yeah i'm workin on my backs on flat ground. i wanna find a wall and put a bed matress on the ground next to it and try running up the wall, then do a backflip off, that would be pimp shit. anyone know any good sites to get some SOAPS?

they aren't soap as in the company, they're actually salomon but htey do have grind plateso n the bottom. my friend gave me them cause he won them and already had some, but i've seen them at the adidas outlet store cause salomon is owned by adidas

there is this sick little rail hop in my school, it's a 3 stair, wiht a damn high kink rail, i'm going to run and 360 over the rail...hopefully i'l make it! tomorrow!

haha, see why must we bring levels into FW? FW isn't much to claim a lot of fame too, it's not like a hardcore sport like snowboarding. If you can run outside and do something hardcore crazy and have fun, then that should be all that matters

ahaha, i went to boulder with some friends and we dressed one of them up with a motocross helmet and chest pads and did freestyle walking all over pearl street (outside street mall in boulder). keep in mind that we all suck really bad so basically we were just jumping off of and over random things. we did a follow cam too down the whole street. it's fricking hilarious. then some drunk guy came up to us and wanted to know if he could punch my friend, so he did. it was good fun. we all suck sooo bad but it rocks cause we're thinking about making a movie as a joke and we each get segs.

freestyle walking is the gayest SOUNDING thing ever. it kicks ass though and is great 'trainging' i haave soaps and can kill rails on skis now and i drop shit on my play ground with like big 540 methods and shit

yo, you guys got it all wrong. i bought some soaps from a friend for 30. ah, kinda fun. i had a old plastic snowboard (solid, not hollow) i cut plates out of the front section, and countersunk 3 hols to match up with the plate holes. standard skate hardware works perfect. on blacktop, you can run and slide forever. down entire hills.you can do way better grinds, cause you dont have to hit the plate. real good for learning switch ups or unaturals. really fun. try it if your bored.
