there has been word about this for awhile. they are closed but they say they're going to take a cat and put as much snow together as they can to make one jump to session. so don't call someone a dumbass till you know whats up fool

loons rails are so sick, check out the pictures from the loon shop showdown, they have a slant box, long flat down, long tear drop, they had sick rails for sure

loons rails were sick this year..the jumps were ok. the big table they had tho was awesum...and i think they are puttin a rail up for that thing may 10th...if my parents will give me a ride, i will be there for sure. and my parents usually do, so ill most likely be there. they are also giving away 500 bucks to the winner. should be sick

loons park was pretrty strong.... the big hit they had was easily the biggest in NH, the rails were more plentiful and more variety then anywhere else, and they had more hits then most places. DOn't talk shit about it... it was easily the best park i rode all year.

As for the line comp, yes, it sucked bad then, it rained the week leading up to it... so that aws to be expected. the pipe had a few good weeks, and the conditions were solid the whole year, give or take a few weeks.

Parker... I know you ride sunappee a lot, and that places blows.

I don't rember that.... if it was the 'slopestyle' jump, then it wasn't 50 feet... if it was the big air jump... it was pretty sloppy that day, but definitly more than 15 feet. thatt was the only week it was bad too.

ok,
last week i checked out loon. they have been pushing snow into the park, and i beleive there are supposed to be a hit or 2, and some rails. regarding there park this season, i never rode it, but from video and what i have heard from people, it was sick. however, it is snowboard only, but i am sure skiers could just session. no prize money for us.

yea the big air jump, the biggest one in the park u know. it had a big lip big gap but about 17.6 feet of landing.

i was there for the line pipe jam and slopestyle. let me run you through the park there were a few jumps nothing speshul. then the big air jump nice and big but it had no landing. down more to where to comp started there was a 6 foot lip with about 7 feet of transition like a 30 foot gap and 3 feet of landing. then the second jump was like a small ass mogul with like 30 feet of gap and 5 feet of landing.

jesus fuckin christ!!i love loon and jay is a rteally cool guy. but i fuckin hate it when snowboarders think they rule everything. and jay is a snowboarder, so he can get like that sometimes. we need to get some skiers on the park crew. then we will shut the bitch ass snowboarders up. im gonna call jay again and demand he let us ski. or we can all jus show up their and beat the shit out of all the snowboaders and then session it

Lincoln, NH, April 17, 2003: Official closing day at New Hampshire's Loon Mountain may be this Sunday, April 20th, but part of the Park will open for one last snowboarding showdown on Saturday, May 10. The Hike and Huck will be a jam format with a jump and a rail set up just above the Yurt in the Park. Since the mountain is officially closed, contestants and spectators will need to hike up for this huck-fest. This event is for snowboarders-only and first place goes home with $500.

Registration will be from 9 AM - 10 AM, and the contest will start shortly after that. The cost is $25, which includes a BBQ, tons of prizes and plenty of entertainment. Plus, there will be a mini ramp will be set up for an afternoon skateboard session.
