What about all the little youngin's that learn about the solar system in kingdergarden and they know pluto is a planet.....while they fail there tests or whatever if they say Pluto is a planet..cuz im sure a lot of poeple haven't heard about this yet.
"pluto has been owned" hahahahahahahahaha....such a fucking funny statment. A planet getting owned...oh shit not a planet...if its not a planet what the fuck is it
Well the thing is Pluto should never have been a planet in the first place! It was mis-named as a planet when it is just the largest Kuiper Belt object. It shares nothing in common with the terrestrial or gas giant planets except for the fact that it is round. It is made of mostly ice, and orbits on a different trajectory that is largely elliptical.
This was the right decision. Otherwise, Charon (pluto's moon) would have been classified as a planet and they would have been binary planets which is just screwed up, and Ceres the largest asteroid would have been a planet (which again makes no sense cause its an asteroid).
i agree completely. By Pluto's definition of a planet, we would've had over 50 new planets in the solar system to memorize. Pluto had a good 76 year run.
