i know before i start park skiing i was a pussy ass then i started falling and getting hurt and after a while i got use to it and know when it comes to anything it doesnt really hurt like it use to and when i tore my spleen it didnt hurt at all

i don't mind falling in the winter, it's falling in the summer on hard ground is what has made my body ache, but oh well i keep doing it cause i love it

i was tough from playing football, but skiing made me more reckless and determined. i was at a point when i started park where i abided by the "if you can't do it in 3 tries, move on" rule. This rule sucks, i didn't progress for shit. Now I have the "just do it, pussy" rule and it seems to work really well.
being stoned usually helps. i used to hate riding lit but now i love it. you never huck shit, you just fly away haha.

Yeah i remember falling a couple years ago and it sucked, but this year i just didnt like falling cause i always got snow in my coat. Overshooting still kinda hurts but yeah, if you hit the good spot of the landing and you fall on it, it really doesnt hurt, well that much.

My rule is kind of like yours... its called the five second rule. You only get five seconds to think of how bad you can fall and then you have to hit it. Lots of the time when you think about something for to long, you psyc yourself out and then end up no committing.

I was a weenie when I skied park, but now that I've started doing bigger lines up on the mountain I've toughened up a bit. In a park all you can do is fall on snow or bang your body on a rail, but if you fuck up on a narrow straighline you cartwheel through rocks (and I can say from experience that this hurts). And then there's mountain biking. Nothing like sliding 30 feet down the trail through rocks and roots on your side!

Skiing is like the least painfull sport ever, and I've had some pretty big accidents, like my unconcious body had been carted off the Mt. And thats just to say that snow -- even ice -- is nothing compared to concrete.

Id say kinda. Iv had soo many injuries from skiing that my medical file looks like a 500 ppage chapter book. I woldnt say it made me tougher but i dont have a indeference to blood or injuries anymore, and i know a few emergency room nurces on a first name basis allready.

im still a pussy. last season when i was skiing for the first time i couldn't even jump 0.5 foot jump. i had to ski for hour to jump it, but i got used to jumping quick and jumped some 30 feet jumps 2 hours later.
