is there neway to get music off my itunes to window music player so i can but it on my cell cuz i can only put music that i have on window in my cell? so what i asking is there neway i can play music i got off of itunes on windows media player
find where the file thats on itunes is actually is on your computer. You can do this by right clicking and going down to properties. Then open up windows media player and go to tools and then the search for media files or somethingbutton and click browse and go to the spot where the files are.
Itunes plays music in a differnet format than Windows Media Player does. I think the only way to get those files to play in windows media would be to convert them, but I dont know how. I'll look into it though since I'm bored out of my mind.
Okay heres how you have to do it.
Burn the music to an audio cd with iTunes.
Put it in your computer and open windows media player.
Use windows media player and rip the music.
^haha thats way easier than what I was looking for. I tried a bit to find something to convert mp3 tp wmv but I came up empty. Just burn it to a CD like he said.
you can do that but if you have a lot of songs it would take a very long time. You can download winamp for free and then download a file converter plugin off the winamp site. This works better if you have a ton of songs.
or if you dont want to do that (and by the way, doing that will not remove any of the tags associated with itunes music store, i think it only removes the DRM protection)
if you have a version earlier than itunes 6 you can use a program called Hymm. i dont feel like looking for the website, but it romves all DRM protection and any tags associated with the Itunes music store. if you dont remove ALL tags, and itunes/apple/RIAA really feel like being assholes, they can still find out that the song you are playing was a song you bought from itunes.
