well I jsut took it and 41% of us have had our Ipods break on us. That is an absolutly ridiculous number. The part that pisses me off is that apple expects there products to break. When mine broke last week, I filled out the online service request form and was amazed at the process I went through to get it replaced. It seems that thousands of people have had similar problems with each variation of the models and it all seems to happen conveniently after 6 months so that you have to pay 50$ to get a new one. Seems almost like a subscription to Itunes to me.
ive always hated ipods, my mom got a free one and gave it too me, 4gb mini, i started having problems 3months after i got it, around 4 months it only worked 50% of the time, now all i can get out of it is the apply icon, nothoing else, its only been 6 months.
i would have never considered buying an ipod, and my experience with this piece of shit motivates me even further never to buy anything from apple
it seems to me that people's experience with their iPods have gone both ways. ive had friends who's pods have broken fequently. mine (which ive had for 2 years) is still working like the day i bought it. hell my "friend" (i dont hang out with him anymore, because of the incident i'm about to describe, and others) chucked mine across the room and it landed on a tiled floor. what happened to the ipod? nothing. but like ive said, i know/have heard of many people who have had problems with theirs. maybe i'm just lucky *knocks on wood*
