Didn't they stop making that fork? Why would you put that on a hardtail? I don't even think it'll fit correctly on a hardtail w/out fucking up the geometry.
its nice cause you can set the first say 4" to be SUPER plush then have the progression get stiffer towards the end, so you have lots of softness at the begining that you otherwise wouldn't be able to with say 7"
yoo man im wonderin how heavy thoise are actualy biking, arnt they like 8 or so lbs cuz i was lookin at a stinky 9 last year and almost got it but i didn't cuz im a light person and i wouldent have been able to wip around that bike like i can with my stinky deelux. but i really like that fork so if u coyld jusy tell me how heavy itis when ur actualy riding
The float's an ok fork, but not the greatest. If you want an air-sprung fork from Fox try to go for the TALAS, or you can sack up and get the coil-sprung vanilla. I can say from personal experience that the vanilla is sweeeeeett.
Umm.. have you ever been on a dh bike? you can't race with 12' of travel. Why don't you think anyone on the world cup races with that much travel. Super monsters are pretty useless. I'll stick with my 888
Hahaha dude that isn't a downhill fork but a freeride one... a heavy duty one at that. My friend has it and only because he is a rich, spoiled fuck. There's no need for that fork, unless you're doing Gillard Road Gap to flat.
