in soccer you have to run for 45 minutes straight and then you get a 5 minute rest, and then youre constantly running for another 45 minutes, so probably soccer
i think i already posted here though

Isn't it 15 minutes? But it isnt so tough. Speed-skating is sooo tough!

hockey is huge, buds in the ohl work out everyday. rugby for sure, makes you tougher and works on endurance confidence and a bunch of other shit. soccer-endurance,legs.
triatheletes- makes you crazy, but in unreal shape
football- lots of endurance and shit in practice sorta like hockey.
i think its hard to compare but i would say these are some of the fittest of athletes. i am sure there is more like swimming and tennis, or just ripping the backcountry.

if you look at it in this way skiers have to be pretty fit. Hiking and doing activities at high altitudes is hard because of less oxygen

hahah meet rugby, tackiling, being tackled. usually never getting subbed and playing 45 minutes non stop. i think you need to be in better shape than soccer. although soccer is a high demanding game which i play as well. i find rugby is far more demanding

rugby is more of a brute game and soccer is more of a technical game

thank god you mentioned water polo players. its literally rugby in the water and you have to use all sets of muscles and both short- and long-twitch muscles. especially gnarly are the kids who play 2m/hole D. FUCKING HUGE BEASTS. my sholders are permanently unnecessarily tight from my 7 years of polo though. but my legs are in great shape!

the thing about soccer players though is they are all stamina and legs, if you were to look at a rugby player theyve got massive shoulders and legs and not to mention incredible stamina (youd know if youd ever played the game)

I cannot believe, on a site dedicated to skiing, the lack of responses involving World Cup skiers. This is the EXACT reason skiing is gay and doomed.

he wasnt a gymnast then if he only competed in trampoline....
trampoline isnt even a gymnastics event btw...
men's events are:
parellel bars, high bar, vault, horse, floor, and rings.
women's events are:
beam, floor, fault, uneven bars.
trampoline is only something we play on for training...say we're training a double front on the floor, we'll have to do it on the trampoline first. etc.

Soccer I dont think people realise how hard it is on a hot day to run and sprint NON STOP for 1 hour and 30 minutes and still have to have the ability to be smart and make plays as well as us all your strength to take a shot or push someone off the ball.
Next comes boxing in my opinion, very physically demanding.
