One last random question.

Biddeford, what's the town like? Full of hippies, dirty, clean, public hangings, etc. Is it a good place to be?

biddeford sucks. when i think of biddeford i think of maine hicks that live in shitty trailers. really thats not true its probably the same as every other southern maine suburb, but the reputation is that they're all trashy down there. saco and OOB too.

I live in Biddeford. Its an old mill town so it used to be a rich town, but now the downtown area is slums since the mill businesses have moved to china.It's got a few hippies in the biddeford pool area, alot of unemployed people, alot of nasty people. i live out towards biddeford pool its alot nicer out there. UNE isn't bad. I don't know why you would want to go there tho. There are a lot of better places. but overall they keep it up pretty good, and it's an OK campus. I wouldn't pick it to go there, but if you decide to, you can deal with it

care to explain why? It's one of 6-7 colleges I had in mind, all ranging from different difficulties and prices; I'm just curious to see which ones I should visit.

don't go to UNE. biddeford blows. if anything go to USM. portland is a much better place to be than biddeford.

question about the USM campus... It's on Gorham but there's a campus in portland. How does that work for classes and such? Do you either go to the portland campus or the gorham campus? or do you go to both? Cause aren't they like 10 miles apart too?

biddeford/saco/OOB are probably the only shitty towns in southern maine on the coast. i have some friends who go to USM and lived at the gorham campus, some of your classes might be at the portland campus so there's a bus that takes you if you don't have your own car. UNE is a better school though i think.
