so the real story , they are the cheapest ski line makes for men so they made them first and the asains over in asialand didnt pre bend the edges at all before they were baked in the ski, thats why the skis are blowing up because of the tension of the edge on the nose and tail.. Line could have just said that and not run around the bush all season, word.
Both , obviously they moved to asialand to get a fast production ski but the workers must have had naptime instead of learning to bend the edge before it was on the ski. everyone look at your invaders, if they have the edge problem the edges wont line up on your tips and tails it will be more of a slight V than a straight line.
i dont know, it might be both, by having to move there plant to china they would have been behind schedual(sp?) so they woulld have to try to increase production, also they would have workers that may have been unfamiler with the process
I don't understand the hate, from what I hear they're covering all the invader's that blow up under warranty, and the problem's fixed for next year.
From what i've seen Line is really getting back on track, all of next years lineup is sick and they ditched the binding.
Way to hate on invaders butthead...mine work just fine and haven't de-laminated or anything like that. I know there were problems with them but I don't know, they aren't a bad ski all in all.

one question though, i dont have inaders but for people who might, if you warranty your invaders (05-06) do you get the 06-07 ones or the old ones? if you get the old ones then its like a waste of money because youd just break them again.
^no they usually warranty your skis with 06-07 lines, thats what they told me theyd do with my chronics at least. and they didnt delam or anything, i got them and the quickmount was messed and the graphic was backwards. haha
obviously because it takes time to warranty and thats not something you should have to deal with. people missed out on parts of or their whole season because not everybody can afford more than 1 pair of skis.
what about the delaming, my invaders delamed and yellowed. plus my local shop is closed and Line won't talk to me, they need to learn how to answer there phones and email. I also bought some prophets and they sent me both of the same ski. the graphics are the same instead of having the roll over graphic. they came straight from Line. I'm not hating line but they keep fucking up and i'm not going to buy from a company that doesn't have there shit together and that doesn't support there customers. i need to change my icon i know
I have never had any problems with Line's customer relations, My friend had a demo pair of the bindings 2 or 3 years old, got brand new ones, fucked those, and got another pair for free, They wouldnt replace his skis though, the original 1260's
