that my friend, is where you are wrong. you see, many thousands of years ago in the area that is now known as "the rockies" lived large 2 legged reptiles that would carve stones into the shapes of long skinny flat stickes. they would use rawhide and pig skins to form straps and they would "slide" down snow covered hills.
