it will be intersting to see the injuries and so forth associated with ultimate fighting as it continues to explode in popularity. alot of people in the local scenes that think they are tough, but lack experiance and training get really hurt doing it.

my father in law is an ex-professional boxer. he still has amazing reflexes and could kill me at any time. luckily he likes me.

no, no. its deff. a sport. you may not like to watch it; but, it takes skill, stamina, strength, reflexes, agility, decicion making, speed, training, evaluation of your opponent, and any other words you can think of that define athleticism. athleticism - athlete - sport. and not all boxers are huge guys. there are more weight classes for smaller to medium guys than huge guys.

in my mind to be considered a sport the activuty must meet at least 2 of the 3 following requirements

1. Shown on ESPN
2. Particpants make more then a million dollars
3.Be in the Olympics

so boxing is most def a sport
