Replying to Live near Virginia? Have a car? Wanna take a road trip to Colorado?

ColoradoFlats:
Ok people, I'm in a tight situation here and looking for some alternative options. My clutch just went out on my Subaru and they are quoting me at like a grand to fix it. Well, considering I bought my car for 5,500 about 2 and 1/2 years ago, that is about 1/3 of what the car is worth now. I think that fixing the car at this point in time considering my finacial situation and the fact that I want to get a new car really soon, would be stupid. Maybe down the road, ok, but not now. My second problem is that I need to get back out west (Fort Collins, Colorado) by early May. I have obligations in Colorado to my brother and helping him fix/sell his house as well as getting his business online asap.

Now, what I'm looking for is a super cool person that might be willing to take a road trip out west, whether it be to visit friends on the west coast or whatever, I don't care. The only thing is I have a dog, a lab, that is about 30 lbs. that would need a ride as well. He is super behaved and wouldn't cause any issues. I, myself would only have my necessities as I'll get someone to mail most of my other shit out, if this works out. Of course, I would hook this person up in all sorts of ways for doing this, even if it was already planned for them.

Again, only serious inquiries please as this is a very serious issue for me right now. The only other alternative is to fly, and with a dog, that can get a tad spendy. Anyway, give me your thoughts people....I'd also like to hear about anyones suggestions as to alternative options for me as well if you know of something better. (And don't say put in a new clutch yourself :) I've already looked into that with a auto-mechanic who said you'd pretty much have to remove everything besides the engine and maybe even that to get to the damn thing, which I have no lift for in the first place, so) Thanks! I appreciate it...msg me if need be.
