WTF Happend to Kirbys Park?

Wow I must say since the kirby comp someone has butchered the layout of the kirby park. My first complaint is the jumps, they took out the first jump and turned it into a sketchy ass spine that sucked, then the made the second jump even bigger (I saw one person make it to the landing today) and then the made a tiny ass jump to the right of the huge jump just to dick around on (its for the kids I cant complain. The raindbow C rain is in the dumbest spot possible, as soon as you get through the gates into the park its to your right so if you fall off the backside of the rail you may be eating some fence. Now to the c-box, it was a great spot where you guys had it before, everyone liked to hit that box but now its on the 50 footer rail side of the pipe so no one even goes over there. And I noticed you they had a pipe groomer there, has that thing been EVER used? Looking down the pipe you'd think the groomer dude was high as a kite. Im not a park designer and I never will be because I would suck at it but man did kirby ever butcher the nice flow they had going around the time of the kirby comp.
O I almost forgot, since the kirby comp we've had a bit of snow and it hasnt got warm enough to downsize the park really, so why in the hell are there two rails, that used to be set up, lying in the bushes....it makes no sense to me.
Thats my rant, I hope someone from Kirby reads it.

this has nothing to do with the park staff but I bailed on that tiny jump (overshot 360) and now I have a tennis ball bruise on my ass, that was fun

the new jump is sick it sucked asss today cause it was windy like no other the jump is even bigger then before so y complain......the spine is pretty tight if you hit it right and they havent rely touched nething except for the c-box which i don't like where it is as well

^^take a closer look at the pipe grinder....it only fits on one of the cats. In order to put in on a cat, you actually have to take the blade off, then attach the grinder to it. This takes a lot of time, and since the hill only has two snowcats...the pipe unfortunately isn't top priority.
As for the changes...we tried to change up the park a bit. The way you saw it for the comp was how it was for over a month. Sometimes changes happen and they don't work out. Personally, I like how it is now....
As for the bigger jump...all I've heard all year is 'make the jump bigger'...now it's all of 10 feet bigger and people are saying 'make it smaller'...can't make everyone happy.

Like I said I wasnt really sure what was going on and im sure that hooking up the pipe cutter is hard but im not even sure if that pipe has ever been cut this year, just my thoughts.

But why would you guys have a pipe and a pipe cutter if A. Your not going to use the cutter and B. If you never maintain your pipe, that shit is dangerous. Ive never had problems with the Kirby park before and I have always enjoyed the place but this time it feels like I got jacked.
On a different note im not sure if this was a joke or not but on the chalk board outside of that hut at the top of the park it said clearly "NO SKIERS ALLOWED," I wasnt sure if that was a joke or not but it said Hoss below it, Hoss is a skier though right?

With the warm weather in January, we lost almost all our snow in the pipe. When the dirt begins to show, you can't cut the pipe as it may wreck the grinder. When February hit with the colder temps, we blew a bit of snow in the park, but not a lot (it went to the sides of the pipe so we would have enough snow for the rails). Priority was getting the rest of the runs open at the hill. So, although it appeared that there was a lot of snow in the pipe, there actually isn't all that much. If we cut it every day for the next week, I could guarantee we'd be back down to dirt....that my friend is why the pipe has been neglected this year.
As for the c-box, I let my park guys set that up...I'll talk to them and see how its been going, and we'll look at changing it up again. Also, as for not having all the rails in...we actually have the same amount in now, as the day of the comp...just switching stuff up.

the jump was definatly not a step up, the flats area was angled a bit upwards but not too horribly

why have a pipe if you dont groom it? its not like people come to kirby to ride pipe.
Fill it in and make 2 more lines of rails and jumps.

K lets not create a hate kirby thread. the changes arent for tha best, but im sooooooo glad it got changed, variety is the spice of life. and as for the big jump if you saw no one hitting it its kuz me n my crew werent there, i think its to small, and it should be like 10 - 15 feet bigger cuz that would be good. its REALLY easy to get speed for as long as theres not wind, i can hit the spine then easily overshoot the jump, and i never wax.
hit it, its tight, the parks good, im sure that their going to change up the park before the comp, but the JUMP SHOULD BE BIGGER, jea. haha. kirby = tha shit. ride. love it. dont complain.

^the general lee won't be going anywhere...that thing is a monster to move. Now that there is a strike on, I should be able to get in and get that c-box in a better spot...any ideas of where I should put it?

^its at the top, in a place that doesn't allow for any other rails....basically its there to fill space that otherwise would be empty....just another feature to hit up, and if I must say, it gets used quite a bit, and is set up nicely.
