Is 180 ski size to big for me

im 126 lb and im 5 foot 8 i was wondering if some 04/05 ar5's in 180 were to big for me. what do you think? and what are the pro's and cons of a larger ski.. thanks

well its harder to spin a ski thats a 180 then say a 170. for some maneuvering a longer ski on snow is tougher. really you just have to be an all around better skier to ski a longer ski. the ski will end up being more stable at higher speeds. it will ski better in deeper snow and it will make you think more about fluid skiiing because jumping around on a bigger ski alot more difficult then hopping around on a ski blade. bigger=better.

I'd say say that it's just barely too big for you. If you're not skiing park with them they'd be good but seeing as you're getting an ar5 I'd say no. Try to find a 176.
