i had the same thing happen to me man, well almost. i was rippin down the side of this trail, and all of a sudden, magically, this little gnome on skis, dressed in pink, veered into my path. i swear to god this little girl came out of thin fucking air.
being the nice guy that i am, i hucked, and i mean hucked, all my body weight to the left, into the woods, so i wouldnt impale her like a shis-ka-bob. Broke my pole, fucked up my wrist, rung my head pretty good, needless to say i was raging already.
then this little "angel"'s mom rolled up, started screaming about how i "couldve killed my baby!" while i was emptying large amounts of snow out of my hood. i calmly explained to the lady that she should probably be thanking me for saving her kids life, and that if shes so concerned about her kid that she lets her veer all over the trail, she probably shouldve stuck to that BJ, and bought a lap dog. then i left.

Seriously tho. Its better than getting them stolen.

Which has happened to me several times.

funny part about it was that one of the pole's baskets came off, and I hadnt bought new ones that day b/c it was so Rock hard Icy that you didnt need any baskets.

Gave me a Legit reason to buy new poles in the shop after the day was done.

Why didn't you get the Guy to buy you new poles? Or did u put them down and go away? I did the same thing about 2seasions ago but mine was deliberatly bent. Fuckers.

Yeah.. basicly thats what happened.

I locked up my skis and forgot to put the poles in there... so I just stuck the poles next to them. When I came back, they werent there anymore. go figure. So I kinda laughed being that there was a much nicer pair of poles 20 feet away (pocket rocket poles) and I went into the shop and bought some new Scott poles for 20 bucks being it was an end of the year sale and they were '03 models (it was 2004)

Yea mosst of my poles break all the time ill go through about 3 pairs a seasion, just by a bunch of rented poles they work fine

why would you post this, people break poles every day. maybe if you had joysticks or public enemy poles it would matter, but why do you need to show everyone the pic of your broken rental pole?

a snowboarder ran over my pole one time and broke it in half.... it was lame. but i love how you posted a picture of a broken pole. like we cant visualize a pole, in half.
