Killington park today

i was at the park today, saturday the 10th... any1 else there?
i ate shit today, im not sure what happened and what was different from the last time i hit the boxes, but this time i just kept slamming my skis into the front of the box, and proceeding to slide the box on my stomach superman style... so my question is... what do i do to not eat shit like this??? hahaha and i triiiiiied popping off the lip, but i just couldnt get high enough... ughh

I rode a box for the first time today at Sunapee's tiny little park. After the first time I had no problems (this was after falling on my ass a good 15 times). But come to the box straight on and have plenty of speed. It'll be wicked intimidating, but you won't be able to stick it any other way. Pop and the end of the ramp and turn your skis 90 degrees...the rest will just happen...don't think about the landing or anything else for that matter while your on the box, just ride.

thanks but i know how to do the box... i did it a few weekends ago, the problem is that the lip is different and i cant pop enough to get on the box....

so i did it with more speed, and its all good, i can get on to the box, but i just think i was more stable and it was better when i was going slower over the box. idk

Yeah, haha they had a mailbox and a box set up today...and a closed down rail..but I mean I finally mastered grinding thank God. Can't wait till their park opens though.

Nah, these are letting the run in firm up before the masses trample it. i think they are gonna need to cut more tree branches out of the way though.

I was there, I ate it on the flat down and while I was working that off my friend broke his collarbone. So we left early. Kid was pretty ballsy though, hardly showed it and no need for the meatsled.

i ate it on the flat down box...
my tips caught the edge of the box and i was thrown forward and i slid the box on my stomach, superman style... hahahaha i wonder who saw that...

i would have been there all day if i hadn't like broken my finger doing some nollie off a nole on the way to the park. There was also a jump that wasn't open when i was there and a down flat down thats in but needed a takeoff and wasn't open, if its good tomorrow, and less fog they will open the jump, and the rail will mostlikelly be open

dont go faster. it sounds like the jump is a lot lower than the box or the box starts right where the jump ends but the jump is lower as well. if you engage the flex pattern on your skis by leaning back and poppin an ollie, your tips will go a lot higher and will therefore not catch the box

penguin slide. always classy. try to look like you're having fun as you slide, and ad the end, try to summer-sault back onto your skis and ride away. extra style points if you come out switch like i did once.
