Would you rock a Burton jacket...
ive seen a bunch of people with burton stuff in their entourage this year, i remember a while ago when it was taboo for skiers to wear burton, or a boarder to rock siver (which ive seen alot of) have your views changed on 'intermixing' brands? and would you rock a sick ass sean white jacket? that kids got some mad style.
its totally against the rules. you arent allowed.
Its true people confiscate that shit!
i knew those jackets looked too good to be true
One of the shops in my area still keep siver, sessions, and oakley all in the boarding section of the store... Its a crime
i rock the blue one with the yellow argyle on it, i enjoy it
Im rockin full Burton Ronin getup this winter. Its the first time ive ever gone burton. I dont care as far im concerned for the price burton knows their shit better than anyone. Its reasonably priced too. I proformed most of it and I have no problem rocking the company responsible for what's in the parks today. Its simple shits good and affordable.
GOD NO and you call yourself a skiier? stupid question by the way
ewww burton? I might wear a snowboard company jacket, but not burton.
Fucking rights! Burton, RED, Ronin, and Iris.
Burton is sucky company. Wear volcom!
I got Ronin pants and a Analog Jacket. They were super cheap at the turkey sale, they are good quality, and they look rad. Oh, and the jacket has lesbians dyking out on the inside. Yessssssss
I have a Burton jacket and pants this year. They look good, and have Gore-Tex. Ill switch over to more ski related companies when they start making some more tech. jackets.
The lesbians make you a better skier. It's just the way it is.
I`m rocking a white burton jacket
i feel the same way. burton is like the mcdonalds of the snowsports industry. they're opening a shop in soho this year.
that being said, i do have two pairs of burton socks. so i guess i'm a hypocrite.
burton is the mcdonalds of the snowsports industry? don't pretend that there is a company out there, whether or not it focusses on skiing or snowboarding, that gives a fuck about you.
its called business kids, business within a capitalist mould. its about money, no one gives a fuck what coat you wear, chances are they are all made in the same sweatshop in vietnam, china, bangladesh, india................. you might as well represent white pride if you think that you are being properly represented by a clothing company.
I donít wear any brand that focuses on any sport im not into (like boarding, skateboarding, surfing...) because I try not to be a poser.
Rocking a Salomon jacket this year, w/ gortex
i do, and i really dont care cuz its so warm and comfortable
why not open a shop in soho? people from nyc snowboard too. it just brings the purchasing closer to them. i love how people neglect to consider that it is a business & that shop is going to make them a shitload of money which in turn goes back into new products, snowboarders, skiers, and their employees. burton is extremely generous to their employees.
burton makes great quality products that look sick. wear whatever you want.
the store is pretty cool, at least thats what i hear from my friends, its got a walk in refrigerator to test out your gear and their shopping back is one of those nylon nike type string bags you can keep
i dont care. i wear ripzone pants and jacket. 1 kus there reletively cheap. and i like them i dono.
i only wear burton mitts for 2 reasons
1) warm as ever
2) free(stole from bro)
I don't care for Burton because of the quality of their stuff. Not because they are a snowboard brand...
I still ride a snowboard from time to time so it's really not about Burton being a snb brand.
I find that their apparel is cheap. Even their top level stuff is more focused on the features then the protection.
Plus everybody is wearing the stuff.
snowboard company clothes are fine for skiiers because they were meant for "snow sports" so esentially they are the same thing. its like anon, i mean theyre made by a snowboard company but are they for snowboarders only? please...goggles can be used by anyone
does it protect you from the snow? yes, then why wouldn't you wear it...
Uh, i have burton pants, and they have held up to a sh!t ton of abuse. Very nice product in my opinion.
Seriously who cares what label is on it, everything comes from the same factory.
Uh I also have anon goggles, also quality product.
yeah i'll be rockin the burton wear at some point
i have analog outfits, burton outfits, and marmot outfits. all serve me well, and i would purchase from all three companies again. the analog stuff is my favorite though, plus they will be sponsoring skiers in the not-so-distant future.
i got a fouursqaure jacket thats super warm but on the downside the snowboarders get you a lot of shit for wearing snb companies.
i disagree with the fact that companies dont care who or what they represent, they just want money... brands like siver, and ninethwards(whether you hate em or not) target such a small market that they have to comply with the desires of the customer, they need you to beleive in their style and what they represent, or they wont make it through the season... that being said, is it more important to support a smaller skiing company to try to boost our industries 'money hungry administration?'
yeah me too, i bought the pants and then i wanted a jacket the same color so i had to buy the same brand
i would wear whatever i can afford. i dont have the moeny to care whether im wearing ski or snowboard brand clothing. im wearing a technine suit this year cuz i got it for 300 bucks at the sample sale at our school
i rock a burton shaun white brown pinstripe. its sick. it looks nice. i dont really care what i wear. shit, we have 80's and 90's days alot with my friends. every month or so, rippin with neon colored one piecers.
^^^ the shaun white pinstripe was the one i was lookin at too, illin jacket man... how do you like it?
i have had burton pants for going on 5 years and they still work quite well. If there gear is of the same quality still, i will prob get another pair of burton pants.
its nice, although the waterproofing isnt as nice as id like it to be.
i have a burton puffy, foursquare shell and pants, only reasons are because they were WAYYY cheaper.
is that the one with the burton logog on the arm pocket?
i like alot of the new burton stuff, but i hate that brown squared plaid...soo ugly and i see so many kids with it..usually i love plaid but that design is hideous.
it all depends because some of the burton shit is actually lokoing pretty good i have to admit...but it just pisses me off when i see boarders wearing siver stuff (unless they support skiing) becasue all the boarders i know that wear that stuff are all against skiing yet they wear our products?
yeah i have burton pants got i got em 4 cheap
i have a burton ronin jacket and the burton phantom pants.
"snowboard specific" companies have a larger selling base so they can afford to sell a little cheaper than the ski companies. And it's in my experience that it's more common for a skier to wear snowboard specific, than it would be for a snowboarder to wear skier specific.
And as far as burton quality? Shit is crazy good. High waterproofing and durable material. And reasonably priced (compared to stuff like Orage).
I've got burton pants and mittens. I love those mitts
i've got 2 foursquare jackets and 2 pairs of foursquare pants along with a sessions jacket and orage pants and the fs stuff is way nicer for a better price. i got orage 10,000mm waterproofing pants for about the same price as 25,000 mm waterproofing fs pants.
I just got burton jacket and pant. What's wrong with that???
hell NO! NIGGA YOU CRAZY???!
dont EVER wear a burton jacket, boarders that wear siver are not cool
my brother is one of those fags
When I ski the only non-Burton stuff Ihave on are the skis, boots and goggles. I snowboard half the time though, so it's OK.
