hey, this has got to be the dumbest post ive read yet

i race on weekdays, and i hit the park on weekends. Does that make me gay? no, it means im smart enough to be able to leave school every day about noon and go ski. i relaly cant beat that. Racing helps your form, whether you believe it or not. In technical aspects, its every bit as hard as jumping, and i know this.

plus, not all racers sit there in their GS suits and talk shit about freeskiers. 90% of my raceday is spend IN the park, i just throw 2 pair of skis at the lodge, and after my run i throw on my line's and go ski

so dont generalize things, it just makes you look pretty god damn ignorent

That's what I do too, h30... I'm mainly a freeskier and a jibber but I race too to get more time on the hill, plus I love competition and going fast. Fuck it though, some people are dicks and will always be dicks.

i once went along those ski racks at the bottom of the hill with me an 4 of my buds an we broke every pair of snowblades we came across, one dude that werked there saw me breaking a pair of them, an i just told him that they were my old ones that i hated so he was like whatever! when all those rats from the lodge came out after lunch they could'nt go blading on the hill and wreck our kickers! hahahaha dumb fucks

I think the hating of racers is based on what sort of particular racers are at your hill, I'll give that some racers out there are actually cool, and can ski, and at my hill I have yet to meet a racer that can ski anywhere but the course. One of my friends that I ski with was on the race team for 6 years, and has now been not racing for 4 or 5, and he sucks, I've been skiing for 4 years and I can smoke him at any aspect. So now you can see my biased and how I may say that racers suck, But if and when I say that I don't mean all the racers and nor should any of you, I mean only the ones resembling the group to which I am familiar.

I realize that racers can be good skiers, but none at our hill are so I think they're shitty people, but just them.

thats a load of shit about skiers racing short skis

i dont know about anyone else, but i ski a 187 for gs and a 176 for slalom

and my darksides are a 182

so as far as trying to say race skiers are the equivelent to snowblades, thats bullshit

i race a longer slalom ski then you people out there on a 1260, and dont get me wrong, my entire weekend is devoted to hitting the park and filming

but really, k2skeepimp is a fucking moron, all racing does is provide much needed SKILL to all skiing areas, especially endurance and leg strength

so yeah..thats agbout it i guess

well technically im a racer and as far as i know the only person here that would think of me as a stuck up asshole is you!

where i work, there's tons of racers. they only race because it's like babysitting in the early stages and then they stay in because all their friends are in it. at 2:30, they get their twins out and hit the park!

shit how is racing gay? Ok at shity little mountains and in little stuff its gay. but shit, at the Olympics and stuff like that, thats insane! You have to be a damn good skier to do that that fast.
