Stand height?

On my old skis i had the tyrollia sl12 with a stand height of 21mm, just got the td8's on my new skis with a stand height of 31mm,
just wondering if this will have any effect on how the ski performs?

just the height of the boot sole from the ski when clipped in.

They'll probably be a little less responsive and carve a little better.
