Being Irish, I guess I should resent the Notre Dame nickname 'The Fighting Irish.' After all, how long do you think nicknames like 'The Bargaining Jews' or 'The Murdering Italians' would last? Only the Ironic Irish could be so naively honset. I get the feeling that Notre Dame came real close to naming itself 'The Fuckin Drunken, Thick-Skulled, Brawling, Short-Dicked Irish'

Well, see in ontario for instance, there is a lot of people on here who live relatively close to each other, so you get to know each other, same goes for other place, living in the middle of nowhere doesn't help. I live in the middle of nowhere, but I also live really close to Blue Mountain, so it helps.

Well personally I haven't met too many people from here like 5 or 6. Mostly people I've talked to on here and then met skiing at Mount Snow or Killington.

haha marblehead, that hasta suck. It's actually a pretty cool place in my opinion, but not too cool for skiing. Anyways, i have one person i actually know on this site, but he never comes on. Prins is on sometimes, i've met him and im a member of midwestskier, his site, but im not actually close friends with him. But, yeah, this is a cool place to talk skiing, but it sucks when people come and just try to go against whatever someone else says. After workin around that, i can probably find some sool people in the regionals, but im lazy right now

When your in your local park, try wearing a 'Hello my Name is blah blah' sticker and you can meet some new people. Or just have your mom pay some people to be your friends..that worked well for me. That when they all stoped kicking my ass. J/K talk to everyone....meet up at the resorts, its a good way to find places to stay etc

A while back there was a thread where everyone listed all the members they've met. It was insane how many people some of us knew. All you have to do is come to the festival on the 14th of december and you'll meet about 100 NS members.

yeah unfourtunatly marblehead isnt the biggest freeskiing community, or any freeskiing community at all for that matter, so its nice to talk to people on her about ski shit
