rail construction...

alright, me and my buddy are going to erect a grinding rail out of some pretty dope old soccer goal posts...they are probably 2 inch diameter and right around 7 or 8 feet long. They are identical in their figure both having a curve in the bar more than 90 degrees conected to an additional foot(roughly) of pole. I was wondering what exactly would be the most efficient and fairly simle way of forging the rail...( I probably wont have access to a welder )

ya the curve is at the end, and I wanted to make a double rail ....

A welder is def. the easiest way to go. If you dont have access use nuts and bolts to hold the 2 pipes together and then screw it into wood. I only really know how to make rails using a welder. Mixing metal and wood just doesn't seem very easy.

i dont think you can make a fire hot enough... hmm, a welder is the best bet, but i know there are other ways, just cant think of any

Well anyways, welding all the way. If you don't have access, try to find a place that rents them out or something. Try to find maybe a local school or university with a metal shop and offer a few bux to use one. You probably just think you don't have access, cause a neighbor or relative my have some equipment and you didn't know it

yeah see if ur school has a welder and try to use that or just go to some shop or place and they will do it for oyu probably
