Being sappy is nice and all but I really don't think girls appreicate romantic ideas. someone who likes them that much without even being in a relationship will probably just creep them out. Women want things they can't have, if she knows she can have you she'll prolly just string you along, unless you are far more attractive then her.
I used to have romantic ideas of relationships but I realised girls are just as evil as most of my guy friends, they just don't give a shit. There are good ones out there but chances are they are taken.

ok me being a girl, i understand what you as a guy think you need to go for, romance wise, but its so not true. honestly if some guy came up to me and gave me a poem id probably laugh at him not there infront of his face but later to my friends... we dig the romance in a different part of the relationship, like going out for a week and the guy saying i love you (so NOT appropriate). its appropriate in that part of the relationship. its cute but not when your just learning that this guy likes you. and yes it depends if she has to chase you. if your really really hot then im sure she'll have no problem with you but if your just some creep running after her, telling her you love her thats just plan out gay. we want the guys we either cant have or have to chase after for a bit and if you just give yourself to her then she wont want you. and maybe you guyz are disappointments to US. so dont try and disappoint to her and prove me wrong and make her be the bitch :)

Some of the things said in here are accurate: it could be perceived as creepy. However, she could also love it. If you know her already then I'd say it's a much higher probability that you're not going to get thoroughly embarassed.
