they suck, so just don't ski them. just ski looks. forget about the line bindings.

I'm pretty sure they did actually fix the little adjustment clip which was the biggest issue with them. They're not re-engineered or anything.

The toe and heel piece are on a track. The majority of the breaks occured when the bindings were not set properly (or adjusted by someone other than a tech) and the teeth inside the track were not correctly set. The force of your boot in the binding could rip these teeth out, and the toe and/or heel would slide on the track. The new teeth are thicker and longer.

The toe and heel pieces are also woven together at a microscopic level. Sometimes they would crack. Dupont looked at the design, and determined that if the microscopic fibers were shorter and woven tighter, they would be much stronger. Think of it like a rope.

Now, that being said, almost everyone that came in with a broken reactor had admitted to trying to adjust it themselves. Just because it looks simple to do, there's a lot going on that you need to know about before you try and set the binding. We demoed them at our camp, and I personally set them all, and not 1 binding was damaged the entire time.

I expect to recieve my first shipment in early August.

From what I've also been told, there is no camo binding being made anymore. For the R10, Jibij will sell it at $249. For the R12, $299.

Dude, I'm just messing with you. No one really cares whether or not you know if Josh is a manager or owner......

he is the Owner by the way.

I am 220lbs, and skied on my R12's all last year with out a problem. On the other hand, they were sweet to be able to switch between the skis in my quiver.

If it's Levinthal than I bet he knows a little bit more than Josh Bryant who only knows what his sales rep has told him and that grapevine can be slow.

I heard that they were going to be a little better. I have them and i like them a lot.

ok heres my story.
I bought a pair of reactor bindinds in my hometown of Wisconsin. I went out to Utah a few weeks later. After 3 or 4 days of skiing on them, the front toe piece broke and started to slide around, like it was said before the teeth broke (mind you the bindings WERE set by a dealer). So i went over to sports den and they hooked me up with a new pair and they too mounted and adjusted the bindings for me. After SIX runs they exact same thing happend. These bindsing were not even a day old and i broke the toe piece agian, then that day i ran into a guy who was skiing on the 06' reactors. He said he also had the same problem with the heel piece on last years bindings, but hasnt had the problem on this years yet. So i took my bindings to my local ski shop and they are getting next years bindings in for me now.

i just sent an email to Jason Levinthal. asking whats been changed. so ill post back when i get the email back.
