Actually, genius, if you get the utter SHIT they have at government stores you'll get so little wormwood in there you might as well be paying half the price and drinking Ouzo which doesn't taste that different. The real stuff you can get from certain individual stores, but not many, usually in ethnic neighbourhoods (places with a lot of east-european oriented shops). Basically, if it has +Euro-legal mg wormwood, it starts getting good. But that's really hard to find.

People from eastern europe do live here, and bring it with them. You just have to find the places that will sell it to you. You'd be surprised what you can get in the right places; there are lots of southeast asian narcotic liquers as well.

yo I bought a bottle of it in a Calgary liquor store that said that it had Wormwood in it....so yes you can get it here, No it isnt illegal in Canada, and its pretty good stuff....you can order it from the liquor stores in Ontario but I dont think they carry it all the time....However Alberta and Quebec sell it all over the place.

Well i tried absinth for the first time the other night. My friend just got back from spending 2 months in lebinan and he brought back a bottle of absinth. We mixed it with water and sugar cubes. O man that shit is nuts. I havent triend coke, but my friend said it was similar to being on a light mushroom trip and being high on coke at the same time. All i know is it has a high euphoria feeling to it.

Mix it with cocaine or coca cola??? I would not reccomend the coke + liquor.... huge fucking chemical reaction... but yea it will work a lot better but chances of OD are much higher..

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:

There's very few countries in the world that sell the REAL stuff with an abundance of wormwood. I had a bottle once that a friend smuggled back from Holland and it was a REALLY fucked up time.

I don't think the Canadian stuff is all that good.... but I can't say I'm the expert on it.

you can buy real wormwood-containing Absinthe off the street here in the states if you know where to look. but wormwood is illegal, so dont go looking for it in any liqour stores.
