based on Sports Illustrated's thing:

today, i was flipping through channels, and this is almost word for word what i heard:

*flipping through channels*

MTV: Room Raiders "wow, these boxers are HOT..." *change*

ESPN: Golf "wow, such a daring move..." *change*

Christian Broadcast: " i believe that artificial sweetners are the fruit of the Devil. God gave us sugar for a reason. And if you need to sweeten something without sugar, use honey: it's God's sweetner. All of these artificially sweetened Coke products are the fruit of the Devil in his plan on taking over the world..." *turns off TV*

every now and then I go to the TBN network to see whats going on... it just catches my eye as I'm scrolling through the digital cable channel list, no mater what is on the channel at the time, the program title and description is "PRAISE THE LORD!"

so I click over to "PRAISE THE LORD!" And 9 times out of 10 its that stupid bitch with the huge hair and the make up crying, telling people to donate more money to TBN.

Sick thing is... their broadcast studio is right down the road here in Orange County, its the most lavish, ornate, disgusting piece of shit I've ever seen, and since the year 2000 there has be a huge light up sign on the front of it that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!"

The woman that I mentioned before frequents the restraunt where my old roomate used to cook too, she and her husband would go in there and spend litterally hundreds of thousands of dollars a month on wine and caviar.

Fucked up shit, really.

its just sad to what extent some christians have gone. it used to be missions work and spreading hope to the world, now all those broadcasts are the kettle calling the pot black, seeing as they are just begging for money most of the time, and preaching false doctrine... i just don't get it. First pokemon was the devil, then harry Potter, now artificial sweetners?

no he is being serious, we got him so mad by saying golfing sucked. haha, well i watched an R kelly music video because one of my freinds was talking about how bad it was, and well, i think thats the sign of the apocalypse itself, such a horrilbe song and an even worse music video and the worse thing is its part 1 of 5
