1. How wide is too wide? I want some new skis for next season, and I don't know what to get. I love my Trouble Makers, so I'm leaning toward Dynastars, but they don't have a ski that's an in between (the TM's are 78 waist and the Big Troubles are 93.) I'm only 5'11" 150lbs, and I think 93 would be too big (I ride all over the mountain: park, groomers, pow, etc.) Am I wrong?

2. Everyone has been crying about the fact that Look is ditching the pivot heelpiece, but from the pictures I have seen of the PX's, they look pretty similar. They still have the long, fuck-you-in-the-ass-when-you-land-backseat heelpiece. It just looks a little more complicated. Has anyone ridden these? Do the not pivot?

there's no such thing as too wide. The Big Trouble will hold up better on rails simply because of width and it kills everything outside the park. They'll be a way better ski in the pow which goes without saying. If you're concerned with weight for spinning and what not they make a perfect length for you: 176cm. I can get you a pair soon for like 30% off msrp.

93 isn't that wide at all. it's a good width. hell, i'm only 139 lbs and about to get 191 cm jp vs juliens! 103 underfoot! it's all personal preference. you should be fine.

^Some of next years Look/Rossi bindings have the pivot, but most don't. Try to find some that do.

Yo Jeff, i'd say try to find some Look P10 or P12 Lifters. or the Look p-12 jib. you can order them through perfects. If not the looks, then the Rossi 100 or 120, or 140.

the diffrence between the p and the px is the accually heel piece not the "dildo looking thing" the best way to decribe it is to look at a look p 10, 12 .. binding and a salomon bindings the look heel piece accually pivots (side to side) and the salomon heel piece dosent move at all thats the diffrence. because salomon and the bindings that dont have the pivot heel tend to "pre-release" more then the pivot series
