Do i need lifters?

i have 143 chronic minis 80 at the waist if that matters and im 4'7" 75 pounds, these are going to be my park skis but i will also take them out of the park sometimes

i wanna get rossi scratch 100s or look p10s, and if you guys think i need lifters id get p10 lifters probably

DO I NEED LIFTERS?

i guess i should be asking should i get lifters or not, i know i don't need lifters but what is better, i can get p10 or p10 lifters for the same price so it doesn't matter pricewise

they are better for carving, and don't really matter for park. adds a little weight, but not enough to matter

they are the same binding so it doesnt matter...dont get the lifters you wont need them

dont get them for park skis, ur more stable without them, easier to land and balance

it really depends on how good of a skier you are...do you generate lots of angles when you ski or do your skid around like a monkey??

most park skiers prefer a flat set up....which is fine, unless you have really wide skies...in which the lifters help generate additional edge pressure...its all angles...your to little to worry about it...so go rip it up grom...you wont notice a difference until you grow up and become a big boy skier...

^ just kiddin......seriously though most people dont notice any difference...and adding extra parts to skis not only adds weight but also creates more chances of equipement failure

Yeah you really dont need them, they are just designed to make carving easier. But I can carve fine without lifters if youre a good skier. I wouldnt want them for the park either, it puts you higher up off the ski with is not good for stability.

YOu dont need them. I had them on a pair of mad trixx, then i remounted without them. If you are skiing powder they will make no difference. Without the lifters i feel like i get more flex in my ski.

the only reason im really considering them is that the chronic minis are 80 at the waist and thats wider than ive had before, and someone said its good for fatter skis when your not on pow

Straight up no. Don't bother. When you're 5'9'', 150 lbs skiing 185 ARVs they might come in handy. In your case they're not only utterly unnecessary, they hurt your park performance slightly.
