heres how it goes, you get up in the morning and get shuttled over to the base of the mountain to get morning grub. then its off to the glacier, once you arrive there, you take some warm up laps (not hitting anything just crusing around whatever) then everyone meets for some streching and you get broken up into groups. you get a different coach each day, and you work on what the group wants. (usualy you get stuck with kids who are about the same skill level you are, but by no means are you tied to that group, you can always head off to another group) then you break for lunch wich is served on the hill, after eating you have time to go off and do clinics on certin things, or more coaching or maybe a little contest here or there, depends but that also is your time to go off and free ride, get your filming in. it's totaly not worth filming in the morning because you're with your coach learning shit, but in the afternoon its your decision. as the day goes on, you'll slowly start heading back for afternoon activites, such as mini golf, waterskiing, ramps, tramps, and the like. these are all optioinal, and wicked fun. if you'd rather just cruise around wistler village thats your call. next up is dinner. free if you eat with the camp, so might as well. (although if you clear it with derek or who ever is the councler you probably can go off on your own, why you'd want to i don't know) after dinner some guys have video sessioning, watch the videos you took while coaching that morning, totaly awsome, great for progression, and laughs as well. everyone else is pritty much free to roam about, trying desperately to find teen tour girls ect. (teen tour high north sesion 5...word) then its "bed time" or so they call it something like that, but i don't remeber a night when people were asleep before like 2... so all in all it's up to you on what you want to participate in, but the structure is there, you'll have stuff to do, and its defently worth doing. you'll defently have the most fun ever at HN. just beware going once is never enough
volkl karma: it's the sickest thing to ever happen to skiing
