i use it for a downloading program... and it stopped working. yea.. has this ever happenned to anyone else... does anyone know how to fix it or should i try reinstalling it or something

happens to me, if you wait a week or so, it'll start working again, its retarded. but if you just uninstall it, then reinstall it it'll work again. and when you uninstall it, it keeps My Shared Folder, so you dont worry about losing anything

yeah it's not working for me anymore either. i heard somewhere that ares is a pay program now. not sure if that is true or not.

you can get most of downloading programs so you pay for them, you can still find the older versions on websites though, and they still work fine

I use ares lite , im a little paranoid about having my ip traced and getting sued for millions of dollars so I just delete the program after I get all the songs i need , It works pretty well because your shared folder and songs stay intact and its like a 2 second download.
