Tanner Goes to College?

This has been the most difficult decision I've made in my life.

I am resigning from my position as a professional skier to follow academic pursuits.

I'd like to start by thanking everyone for making my career as a professional skier possible. With out your support, my friends, family, sponsors, fans, and haters alike, I'd have never been able to live the dream life that I've lived for the past 10 years.

Skiing has been an incredible avenue for my self expression, and I plan to stay involved with the sport in some capacity, however, I've done lots of thinking since my recent injury. Its made me realize that I am mortal, and life must go on after skiing. I've applied to numerous colleges, and will be enrolled in the fall semester. Instead of fading into the sunset, I'm going out on the top. I hope my contributions to the sport will help others follow in my footsteps.

you need to finish highschool, and for that matter elementary school before you go to college.

High School is a joke and really didnt prepare me at all for college. I thinkt it's sick that he is considering this. I wonder where he would go? U of utah probably.
