cock blocking in the sense that i know it as is one of your idiot friends scaring away the girl you are trying to get with. Usally the cockblocking type is your fat friend that can't get any game and doesn't want to play videogames alone tonight so he sabotages your game. Like when you are spiting a buch of fluff to a girl, and all the sudden you hear 'You never went to med-school, you work a chailift' That is cockblocking. It also comes in the form of drunken ex-girlfriend, and dumbass cousin.
