What is the best Camera to get. Is it better to just get a camcorder or a camera. Do digital Cameras work or are they to slow?

the canon powershot A20 has a feature where you can just hold down the button and it'll take 2.5 pictures evey second for as long as you hold it. then you can open up photoshop and do some morphs, just like in FREEZE.
