check out www.nordica.com and check out the 02/03 latest technoligy. the synergy system is sort of like the line binding in the fact that 2 screws takes the whole binding off, plus you can define your own center point easyly. check it out

you must not ski to hard, salomon binding are the worst fucking hunks of metal to ever make their way onto a ski. No matter how perfect you set them the wings are always moving and you usualy pull your ski off if you tweak out a mute. things are horrable

yeah, my friend pulled his ski off on a tail 360 with salomons

yah, i dispise salomon bindings. I had the dins maxed out on them and they STILL came off for no reason. Specially in the pipe..i'd land fine and one ski would just shoot off.

I don't think Salomon's or Marker's are a 'bad' binding, I think they just weren't designed for jumping. They work fine for just turning and regular skiing.
I have Salomon's and overall they've been adequate, but they fly off really easily on switch landings, especially when you are set up perfectly and land completely centered.

its my understanding that the LINE bindings onlu work with line skis this year and next year they should have a version that will be able to be mounted to any ski

there is a reason why most pro skiers that dont have binding sponsors choose Look bindings. They are the lightest, strongest, and safest.

I liked my salomons, the brakes messed up, but that wasn't a big deal. My markers on the other hand sucked horribly. Cranked all the way down they would come off real easily with grabs and stuff.

yah I had hella problems with all the salomon bindings Ive owned.. had to warranty three pairs.. breaks broke off many times... but I have sloved the problem.. DONT MAX YOUR DIN on the salomons. you'll jus snap the spring... thats what happened to me.. what you have to do is almost max the Din.. put it like one lower than the highest.. then set the bindings three sizes too small for your boots... then when you snap your boots into your bindings, you jsut have to kick your boot in real hard and kinda fit it into the binding like a puzzle.. once its in it wont come out no matter what you do... jsut dont fall so that you hrt your legs

Yeah look bindings are the best. Like said above, there durable, safe, actually work properly and are fairley inepensive.

Look Bindings and Rossi's are the best, (cause they are basically the same). No the new lines will not fit on your 1080s. And yeah my Salomon brakes broke twice last season, so this year I'm going with the p10s or p12s.

yeah give salomon their due they were good on the warranty with mine and they cover bindings for like 5 years...but I didnt really want to have to use that 'good warranty' on mine....
is all about the LOOK bindings now though, oh yeah....

just remove you bindings, and bolt your boots to your binding. Remember to use plenty of super glue as well as duck tape

im sorry but look is the only way to go...or rossi either way they r the only quality binding on the market...make sure it is the pivot because if not then u might as well be buying salomons... my friend has salomons and he landed every trick perfectly with his feet under his body every time and his bidings somehow still popped off!!!
just thought i would share that with y'all

i agree that look/rossi binds seem to be the best for jumping/freeriding. but as for 'bad bindings', no one makes a bad binding. they just make bindigns that arent ment for your style of riding. i think that one of salomons problems with there bindings is that they have ajustable to hieght and wing ajustibility. with rossi/look, the auto ajust every time. now if you look at your soles of your boots, i sure they have worn since you baught your skis.
on another subject, how many of you turn down your bindings like your sapposed to do during the summer. And then have them retested just before the season starts. one problem that some of you might be having is that the sping that controls the ammount of pressure is gettin streched out, cause redicuesly low din. one thing to do is just have your bindings tested at a shop. that way a shop techniction can tell you if you are releaseing below what is suggestd.
anyway, thats just my thoughts
