Who has the best snow? The west, teh rockies powder, the Appalacians or Teh east Coast.? I'm gonna go with the rockeis but add a reply if you know of different...

Utah's skiing and snow is amazing! Don't just go to Alta because that's what you've heard of, try some of the smaller resorts like Brighton, Solitude, or Snowbasin.

yep. Utah has the best snow. Particulary the mountains on the side where Alta and Snowbird are. And yes, the snow is different between Park City and Alta. Plus I think Alta gets like 100 more inches a year.

From all the stuff I have heard about utah Little Cotton Wood canyon sounds like it has the most/best snow and that is alta and snowbird and stuff. I think i heard the same thing about park city and alta. I would say that Utah (intermountain) has the best. West coast is a lot more water content. Rockies like CO is a lot more avalanche prone and the snow pack isnt as stable where Utah is like a mix of both.
