yah...it depends on what you want to do also. Mike Nick pros are more of a park ski (center mount), whereas the 1080 is good all over the mountain. If you want all mountain..look at the skogans or darsides too.

being his name is mikenickpros and he said he ahs mike nicks im guessing he isnt deciding weither to get the 1080s or the mike nicks. i have the mike nicks and i think they're sick, but i ski in the midwest and almost all park cause i have a 200+ ft hill. so they are good for what i ride
