Why smoke skiing

Why smoke when you are skiing, you already get a natural high from skiing, if your any good. It may relax you, but it does lower your response time. So why fuck with something that is already awesome.
Given i don't smoke, but i have been around it a ton. And don't think don't know what i'm talking, i've probably been around it more than most of the people on here.

if you have skied for a long ass time, such as ten years or more, for entire seasons you are already in controll of your skis and your body, you no longer need to think about the actual motions that make the tricks possible. you simply need to visualize how a trick will look and feel while doing it. muscle memory is an important part of skiing, this is when you are so good at something that your body can do it without much thought.

so when you smoke herb and ski, you forget about all the actions that make a trick possible and you rely on muscle memory and feel to do a trick.

an example is like when doing a 360, when you've been spinning for a while, all you need to do is look over your shoulder and find the landing, and style it out, it takes no more than looking and feeling. this is what weed brings to skiing.

dont ski and smoke if you are still learning the mechanics of skiing, but if you are controlled on your feet while skiing and have experience then give it a try. you will like it.

you guys say you have never tried smoking weed while skiing, yet you say you dont get the appeal? go try it, you look at the mountain in a different way and you really appreciate just being out on the hill

one word.....intensify. skiing is an incredible, amazing, fantastic, UPLIFTING experience. the effects of puffing while skiing intensifies the whole thing, leaving you feeling comfortable, in-control, and most importantly, styleeeeeeee. The feeling of a well carved turn, a perfectly aborbed mogul, or sticking a phat trick are multiplied! also, if you eat it, it hurts less. i have no complaints, and i think there's proof that it works VERY well...cough...cough...Tanner Hall....But whatever man, as long as your on the hill, your havin a good time, so it doesn't matter either way

i'm f'ing scared to toke on the hill because back in the day when i smoked the wacky tobacky i was running one time on this street playing tag with myself and i fell and slid on my hand and it felt like it was on fire, liek it tingled for like HOURS liek the fall had just happened and i got like sad about it and haven't smoked weed since dude

Smoking while skiing makes me relaxed. I can get in the zone and concentrate on one thing. If you have mastered herb smoking it is the best. Some people can be blunted all day and be fine, it is these people who can get the best experience from smoking and skiing. Powder days are especially dope stoned.

yea its def a whole new experience to smoke and ski... but u just have to get like a normal high... not totally stoned or the high from the weed overtakes the sense of skiing.. but its still fun as hell either way

the thing is jibcultre, you dont konw what you are talking about, i dont mean that negatively, but if youve never smoked you dont get it, no matter how much youve been around it. i dont smoke right now bescuase of my situation, but if anything skiing is one of the best times to smoke, at least for me. i love being in the outdoors and puffing, i guess its something you just have to exsperience. some people dont like it, i guess its just prefrence

you can become dependant on it, it happened to my friend. he wouldnt feel comfortable around anyone unless he was stoned, he would burn all the time by himself. he couldnt talk to people and be himself unless he had a buzz.

yea people can become dependant and addicted but people become addicted to everything like shopping and wierd shit like that. I remember last year i went to state for ski team and shared a room with two of the biggest potheads in my school so we were all stoned the entire weekend and making really fast turns has never ever been that much fun. You feel in control but going so much faster. Jibbing would be sweet have so much more confidence. But yea i just like being outside while stoned. why not do it?

the first time you smoke weed and ski you'll be freaked. I was. But after a couple of times taken it easy, you'll become super aware in the air and on the snow. Everything will flow. I fell once in this no fall zone, and I was just blitzed, but while I was falling I was just like okay just put my feet on the snow. and boom I was up again. You become super aware of everything. It is super intensyfying, but you are in a zone. Its super cool. Skiing after a few beers is fun to. It just takes the edge off and loosin's you up. But its nothing like skiing high. Don't ridicule till you've tried it.

defenitly check it out first, pot has a little different effect on some people so it might just not be right for you when you are skiing, the first time i just skied on the bunny slopes bescuase thats all that was open, it took awhile to get where it actually helps me

Skiing on shrooms would be cool because you go on missions, kind of like skiing on acid. I haven't done either but skiing on mushrooms has been recommended to me.
